Portland Timbers x LA Galaxy

In a hard-fought battle at Providence Park on March 16, the Portland Timbers and LA Galaxy had to settle for a 1-1 draw after a game filled with momentum swings, defensive grit, and late drama. Both teams had their moments, with Felipe Mora and Christian Ramirez providing the goals in a match that neither side wanted to let slip away.

After a tense first half where neither team could break the deadlock, the Timbers came out firing in the second half. It took just four minutes after the restart for Felipe Mora to make his mark, finishing off a well-timed cross with precision in the 49th minute. The goal sent the home crowd into celebration, as Portland looked to take control of the match.

Despite falling behind, LA Galaxy refused to fold. They gradually increased their attacking intensity, with Riqui Puig and Gabriel Pec pulling the strings in midfield. Their persistence finally paid off in the 81st minute when Christian Ramirez found himself in the right place at the right time, slotting home the equalizer to bring the visitors level.

With just minutes left on the clock, both teams pushed for a winner, but neither could break through as the defenses held firm. Portland had one last chance deep into stoppage time, but LA Galaxy's backline stood tall to secure the draw.
